Root Wizard

Profit from the roots up. Root Wizard is a living inoculant — six strains of plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria that move into the rhizosphere and go to work where the bulk of nutrient uptake actually happens.

PGPRs earn their place three ways: they push plants to build longer roots and more root hairs, they digest organic matter into forms the plant can actually take up and deposit it right at the root tips, and they leave fresh organic matter behind when they die. A dense beneficial population also crowds out the harmful stuff before it gets a foothold.

Two things decide whether a bacterial product works — the right species for your crop, and enough of them to establish self-sustaining colonies. Root Wizard is built for both.

How to run it

• Works in hydroponic media or in soil.
• Can be applied as a foliar spray to coat leaves with beneficial bacteria.
• Replaces any root inoculant or bacteria product in your program.

In the bottle: honey-coloured, slightly viscous and slippery, smells a bit like yogurt. Shelf life 18 months or more — keep out of direct sunlight and use soon after opening.
