Part A of the two-part base that takes the math out of growing. Mix equal portions of A and B, follow the rate on the bottle, and stop tweaking your feed chart every week.

Grow A carries the calcium and the chelated micronutrient package — copper, iron, manganese and zinc, the maximum four a base nutrient can chelate. Chelation matters twice over: it gets more of what you pour actually absorbed by the roots instead of binding to your medium, and it widens the pH window each micronutrient stays available in, which is your insurance against lockout.

How to run it

• Add Part A to the reservoir first — it carries the more reactive ingredients. Mix thoroughly, then add Part B, then your supplements.
• Hold reservoir temperature at 62–70 °F (16.6–21 °C) and pH at 5.6–6.3.
• Store out of direct sunlight and above 45 °F (7.2 °C) or it will crystallise.
• Drops in as a straight replacement for any 2-part base nutrient.

In the bottle: clear green, roughly the consistency of water. Smells faintly of the ocean. Shelf life 3 years or more stored normally.
