pH Up and pH Down are buffers — a weak base and a weak acid — that correct pH imbalances in a hydroponic nutrient solution. Every essential nutrient has its own pH window for absorption; stray outside 5.8–6.3 for too long and elements like iron or manganese lock out.

Why use it

  • Avoid nutrient deficiencies by keeping pH stable
  • Keep every essential element available at the root
  • Protect your crop — imbalanced pH can damage or kill plants

Good to know

  • Emerald Harvest base nutrients and supplements are already pH buffered — running the full line usually needs little adjustment
  • The sweet spot for hydroponic gardens is pH 5.8–6.3
  • Never mix pH Up with pH Down

Shelf life: 3 years or more stored under normal conditions.
